FAQs

Clear answers, before we begin.

1. How do we get started?

Reach out through our contact form or call us at [phone number]. We’ll ask a few simple questions about what you’re looking for, then help match you with a therapist who fits. You can also browse our therapists and request someone directly.

2. How do I know which therapist is right for me?

You can filter our therapists by specialty, population, and location, and read each profile to get a sense of their approach. If you’re not sure, tell us what’s going on and we’ll help you find a good match. It’s okay to switch therapists if the fit doesn’t feel right.

3. What happens in the first session?

The first session is a chance to talk about what brought you in, what you hope will change, and how we can support you. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. You’ll also have time to ask questions about how we work.

4. Do you work with children, couples, and families?

Yes. We offer individual, couples, children and teen, and family counseling, along with support through life transitions. Each service has its own page with more detail.

5. Do you offer in-person and online sessions?

[Confirm: in-person in Salt Lake City, telehealth, or both. Add any location details.]

6. What does counseling cost, and do you accept insurance?

[Add: session fees, accepted insurance providers, sliding-scale or self-pay options.] If you’re unsure about coverage, contact us and we’ll help you understand your options.

7. Is what I share confidential?

Yes. What you share in session is kept private, with a few legal exceptions, such as concerns about safety. Your therapist will explain these at the start, so you know exactly how your privacy is protected.

If you or someone you know is in crisis or having thoughts of self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911 in an emergency. Our contact form isn’t monitored around the clock.
